Steel Strapping Increase - April 2022

We wanted to let you know that there will be a price increase on steel strapping to be put into effect on 04/28/22. This increase is due to the overall cost of steel, the cost of labor increasing, and continued issues with material sourcing.  

On average the most recent announcment was 15% but we received letters stating as high as 25% which is unheard of in one single increase.

As we are sure many of you are aware, strapping has seen a number of increases over the last 2-3 years. Nearly three times over from prices at the end of 2019. We hope to see stabilization by the end of 2022 but like everything else it isn't guaranteed.
